Please see the two attached screenshots.
My problem is as follows, as you can see, the status bar of the Photos.app (on iOS 4.1) is behaving oddly. I have installed the Transparent Status Bar Theme from Cydia and apart from this ONE issue, it is working exactly as I want it.
I tried to modify the info.plist file in mobileslideshow.app by cyberduck to change
<key>UIStatusBarStyle</key>
<string>UIStatusBarStyleBlackTranslucent</string>
to the following
<key>UIStatusBarStyle</key>
<string>UIStatusBarStyleBlackOpaque</string>
After the change, I rebooted, (soft and hard), but nothing has changed. What am I missing to change the status bar to simply black? Is it possible?
