So i was using the freeware app "nocturn." I had made the menubar so that its colors were inverted. I didn't like it, so i put it back the way it was before...only to find that when i tried to check and uncheck the "make menubar transparent" box in system prefs, it would only change the gradient shade (make it lighter, or darker) of the menubar and not the actual transparency. Is there a way to make my menu bar transparent again? I'm sure other users of this application have had this problem too. See the pictures--the lighter one is with the "translucent" box UNchecked, and the dark one is with the box checked.
I have tried restoring .plst files and that didn't work. Know any other ideas or apps that could help me?
Thanks
Z

p.s. Preferably, it would be great if the fix didn't involve resetting the menubar apps...its a pain in the but to get all those icons back up there... :/
