windows live messenger on mac via crossover ? or just parallels ?

hey i was wondering can i use windows live messenger on mac with crossover ? i dont like the msn mac edition and the wlm on parallels make my mac osx a bit slow when i am editing videos fotos etc..
so does anybody have msn on crossover ?
does it work good or ?
