I'm becoming heavily invested in dropbox, it's really helped solve a lot of hassles over the last month or so with my work. I've been able to work on documents as I move between work and home, and when at workshops and seminars I've likewise been able to draw up important documents even when I didn't have my notebook or thumbdrive with me.
I'd like to extend this flexibility to the iPad, and allow myself to be able to work or create documents when I only have my iPad available. I'm not expecting all of the features of Office or Open Office, but enough so that I can get the point across in my work. My principle work would be to be creating and working on "doc" files. And of course I'd want it to be integrated to dropbox so I can just save it directly into dropbox.
I think that is probably the key element. What would be perfect would be to save directly into dropbox, not transfer it in after I've worked on a document. I'm trying to achieve fluid ubiquity with my files, I don't want to add any other procedures, just opening and saving files.
