I have a new 2010 iMac with Boot Camp so I can play some Windows games
. But sometimes, when I set the display to sleep (just the display) it will not wake up. To wake the display back up, I have to sleep the entire computer while "blind". Basically I press the power button and press the Enter key since the display is off while the rest of the computer is running.
I have custom fan settings while I'm gaming, and I prefer display sleep than entire computer sleep because the fan settings reset after waking up from sleep.
If anyone can explain this problem or hopefully provide a fix, I would be very grateful. Thanks!
