MacBook Air screen transplant

I noticed that the new MacBook Air 13" has a very nice improvement to the resolution of its screen. It's actually the same resolution as my 19" external monitor. My question is if anyone else knows if the MacBook (specifically the 2008 BlackBook edition) can support the new MacBook Air screen. I know that in the past the connector for the LCD on both the MacBook and the Air were basically the same, so has anyone looked to see if this still holds true?

The aspect ratio is the same (16:10) The cables look the same. But since your blackbook has an inverter and the new screen is led back lit you will need severe hackery to make it work. Most likely you will end up ruining something.
