Outlook 2011 with SBS 2003 (small business server)

Hi, has anyone been able to set up an exchange account in Outlook for Mac 2011 with Small Business Server SBS 2003? Microsoft claim that Exchange 2007 or later is required but I wondered if there was a work-around.

No go. Only Exchange 2007 and newer. :mad: Of course if we were on that we could have moved to Mail.app in Snow Leopard.

We have to stay with Entourage 2008 for the time being.
 
Bummer - I was hoping some clever tech-head would have found a work-around. Have you tried it?
 
I wonder how easy it would be to upgrade SBS 2003 without causing major disruption or having to install a new server ...
