Hello everyone and potential itunes enlighteners!!!
I recently came across a problem with itunes on my macbook pro (mid April 2010 core i5 15 inch). While I was using my itunes, the music in my library and on my playlists do not show up. When I click on a playlist or the music in my library, there is no music. Instead there is a blank screen. However, the music will still play, so the music is there, but it just won't show up. One reason, which I haven't seen posted in other threads yet is, that I think this might be happening is that I just installed Windows 7 on my macbook pro, therefore I backed up all of my files, including my music and itunes playlists. Possibly something happened when I did this???? Not sure though. I skimmed through countless forums and cannot seem to find a solution for this. I've also tried several 'fixes' to this problem as noted by other threads in various forums and on the support page of apple's website.

I've already tried:
-uninstalling and reinstalling itunes
-upgrading the latest version of itunes
-upgrading the latest patch for snow leopard from the mac website
-deleting the xml files from itunes folder
-putting my music in the itunes folder and importing that way

I've tried these things already and have not had much luck. I am aware this is happening to other people out there, but I have not had any luck with the solutions they've used. Has this happened to anyone else and have you been able to fix it with a solution I have not already tried? Please help, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you so much!!!!!:D
