This may well be the worst day of my life. :'(

I always feared this day would come. Yes, I download a lot of songs off iTunes, but I'm not going to lie I download about 70% of my music through limewire. Thoughts or advice to get me though these trying times? :'(

I'm not an expert but I thought they were on different servers? Nonetheless, Frostwire has been yielding results just fine. Hope it stays that way.

Limewire is too, for now. It's only a matter of days/hours before it get's shut down. I think I'll go join the thread regarding that 14 year old and his girlfriend. :(

2001 just called, they want their *****ty software back.

EDIT: Here's a hint of somewhere else to look, rhymes with Fit Rorrent.

Torrents and newsgroups replaced limewire style file sharing years ago. Not to be snobby (though I totally know this will sound snobby), but I'm surprised people still use(d) limewire.

Limewire is so much easier than torrenting. Plus, I NEVER download full albums, only the songs I want. My goal is to be able to push play and never want to hit next/skip.

wow. interesting.

used to be back in the day, you couldn't even just write the word "torrent" or the words "file share" on this site w/o getting b& and the thread deleted.

anyway, limewire? Seriously?

Time to move on to torrents.

I would much rather use torrents then have that TERRIBLE application polluting my computer.

I had either Limewire or Kazaa on an old PC and it toasted it with assorted maladies, including virii.

Better off dead.

I'm glad limewire is dead. Maybe people will start to buy their music now

So you don'y have any pirated media on your computer? Not a show or music video or a song or a movie? That's fairly hard to believe.
