Today, I was in class and using my laptop. After I was done, I turned off my laptop and closed. I later opened it up, and saw that I could not type anything.

After doing a few different things (Resetting, reboot, etc.) I took out the battery and looked at it. The bronzish looking strip in my battery space looked warped, so I touched it a little bit.

Afterwards, I put my battery back in, and rebooted. I could then type after that.

I was just wondering, how much would it cost to get this fixed/replaced? If anyone knows what it is, anyway.

My notebooks model is that mid 2009 Macbook Pro (Previous model of current MBP)

Thanks in advance
