Kingston RAM KTA-MB1066 for MBP - any good?

Hi guys,

Sorry for the double posting. But while we're at it :)
Anyone thoughts on Kingston RAM for the MBP (5,3)?

Want to upgrade my RAM to 8GB and would appreciate some thoughts/experience of Kingston RAM in the MBP.

Am also open for alternative brands if you have any specific recommendations.

Hi Mulo,

Thanks for the link... only thing is that I live in the EU and shipping anything of value from the US here just faces customs and marks the price up.

The Kingston cost around 70 Euro, and have proven to be the only brand RAM around here for that price. All other Apple dedicated RAM (ie. Samsung/Hynix etc.) is much more expensive here.

So I would appreciate some feedback on the Kingston ones or other alternatives.
