How long does the free shipping take from the first day of order to the day I get it I live in nyc

It takes as long as it takes.

When I ordered on Sunday (BTO) I was quoted 3 to 5 days before shipment. It shipped Wednesday (3 days). Then went to Alaska for International customs release. The FedEx estimate says it should be delivered by November 2, so that seems like about 9 days from order to receipt.

IHTH

I ordered on Friday and it just shipped Wednesday. Says November 2nd as opposed to November 1st as originally planned. :( No fair!

EDIT: I live in Long Island, NY

I wonder if options chosen affect the build time?

I ordered last Sunday (Oct 24) and it shipped Wednesday (Oct 27) it got here today (Oct 29).

I was out at the time. My FedEx guy is awesome. He tried at 12:45, back at 2:50 (I was still gone) and he came back at 4:00PM and delivered.

Any Acknowledgement Emails from Apple after ordered?

Guys - What kind of email Acknowledgement(s) from Apple that you receive before your Order status is changed to "Shipped" or at least "Prepared for Shipment" (from "Not Yet Shipped"):-

Did you receive anyone or all the below?
1 - Order Acknowledgement (with Web Order No.)
2 - E-Invoice for your Order ****

I ordered it Monday, Fedex says it should be here November 1st. I'm in Boston.
