Pwnage tool 4.1 activate the phone

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the Activate the Phone option on pwnage tools.
I currently have a 3gs that is activated, but I'm not sure legitimate or not on official carrier. All i know is that I'm currently unlocked and on T-Mobile.

I'm upgrading from 3.1.3 to 4.1, and I want to keep my old baseband. So, Do I still choose activate the phone?

If you're not using the SIM of an official carrier, you'll need to choose the activate option.
