Ive recently noticed that my mb's battery has only held a charge for a few hours so after downloading cocnutbattery i have been through 245 cycles and only hold 29% capacity(1224/4100mAh) but today after my battery got to 18% charge i got a message to "service battery" then a minute later my battery shot up to 35%.. what the hell is going on here?

also i calibrated my battery a few days ago

Sound like you have a faulty battery.

I have the same computer, but mine has been through 607 load-cycles and is still at 90% health.

Seems like you have a defective battery. Since the battery is below 300 cycles, Apple will replace it for free because the capacity is below 100%.
