IMovie editing question

I'm putting a collage of my favorite movie scenes together and want to know how I can move clips that were added later before clips that were added before, in sequence? For example, if Clip X is after Clip Y and Clip Z was added later, how do I move Clip Z so it can go after Clip X?
 
Import and drag

Have you tried importing all the clips to the New-Event panel (at bottom) and then selecting and dragging them one by one to the Project panel (top left) in the desired order? Once there, you can further edit your movie.
