.PNG Interlacing in FCE

Using some Photoshop .PNG files in a video project, but they look terrible in my QT movie. Any suggestions on how to get these files to looking their best?
 
Just a note: PNG files don't have to match your frame size. FCE crashes if I bring a PSD file in that differs from the frame size, so I like to match them.

Try a JPG and see if that helps. Never hurts to try.
 
If you are working in a DV project in FCE your PNG files will take a big quality hit. That's just the nature of the beast.
