Hello,

Next week I'm getting a new iPhone4 (upgrade from 3G) and am curious how much space a recorded HD video will eat up (ie - 1 min video = 1.3 mb), along with the approx file size of the highest resolution picture.

I won't have the ability to sync all that often, which is why I'm interested in figuring this out.

Thanks!

1 second of HD video = ~1.3MB
1 minute of HD video = ~70-80MB

Pictures are generally 1.5-2.5MB each.

Excellent.. was a bit higher than I would have thought, but good to know.

Thanks

I'm going to a concert on Thursday (Brandon Flowers, Fox Theatre), so today I wanted to test out my camera to see how long the battery will last me and how much memory the video would use, so I charged my phone to 100%, then I placed my phone in my family living room and just let it record.

After an 1hr 30min, it used 52% of the battery and the video came out to 2.6gb.
