Image OS X install disc in Windows

Is it possible to image the OS X install disc in Windows? I would like to experiment with OS X virtually and have got a hold of a legit disc.

I've done it before, it lacks any form of graphics acceleration but is more than enough to learn my way around.

Seeing how I now have a legit disc I'd rather image it than use those provided with torrents.
