My aunt gave me her old iPhone 2g when she upgraded. is there the possibility that i would be able to have a voice and text only plan through ATT. If it matters my Aunt lives in Germany where She purchased the iPhone originally.

If it is unlocked, just go prepaid. The at&t gophone deals over at http://www.slickdeals.net/ will net you some reasonable minutes and a cheap starter kit.

Im 14 so if i do get it will just be docked right onto my parents plan

I think first you will need to unlock it, and i also think that you don't *need* a data plan for a 2G iPhone. Not sure about that though.
