So, my partner's iphone froze, so I restored it. It's a 2g iPhone (old school!) so the upgrade to 3.1.3 re-locked it. I ran pwnage and the firmware cooked up just fine. It's getting a 1600 error when trying to restore with the custom FW and I tried all the usual tricks... trying to restore with multiple computers (her new Mac Mini and my old PowerBook), using different cables, etc. No go. So I resorted to iReb which worked for me when I unlocked my own phone.

When I run iReb on her mini it tells me "cannot find application named ituneshelper"

What does this mean? What can I do to fix that?

I tried running it on my PowerBook just out of curiosity and it runs, but when I click "OK" after putting the phone in DFU (I'm 99% sure it's in DFU... I practiced several times without iREB running and it popped iTunes open every single time with a black screen still...) it gives me a "cannot execute binary file" error every single time.

So... if anyone has any tips on either one of these problems I'd love to hear it! Thanks in advance! I searched the forums and googled the crap out of these, but wasn't able to find any solutions.
