Hey everyone. I think the abilities of Geektool are awesome, but it is of utmost importance that my computer is not slow (2.4 ghz MPB 4GB of Ram) and that none of my files get messed up. Can Geekscript be turned on and off? Does it mess with anything that is part of OSX that can void a warranty?

Thanks!

Yes you can turn it off. No it won't void your warranty.

It probably won't slow your computer down either. It seems to have little effect on the MacBook in my sig.

It's just an application like everything else you install. I'm not aware of any software that would void warranty.
