i have a iphone 3gs. the phone is on you can hear it sync and everything just cant see anything. only the backlight comes on when you press the home button or the sleep/wake button. i have tried replacing the lcd 3 times and the same thing happens with each lcd. please help me. i have a video of what it is doing if you guys want me to post that up.

iphone on screen is not working just backlight

well either you are getting bad lcd's and thats possible especially if you buy them off eBay or Amazon. or your leaving it turned on when you try to install it. try holding both the off button and the home button until you see the apple logo. this may take a minute or so. make sure the lcd is plugged in properly. also make sure you have a lcd for a 3gs and not a 3g. match the plugs to check this out. you can post the video as well
