blackra1n and Spirit

Yeah, i screwed it, now i cant seem to restore to my original 3.1.2 (5.11.07) Apple says it isnt eligible...:(

I installed Itunes 10.1, now its installing IOS 4.1...i dont know what to do? any advice please? let me know...:(:eek:

I still have 41 minutes to go before dooms day.

I have a 3gs with 3.1.2 baseband 5.11.07. JB using Blackra1n and blacksn0w unlock.

THis morning ended up running Spirit on the phone and since then my phone has been going through the infinite loop of rebooting, Blackra1n doesnt work.

Also, restore isnt helping anymore :( its now picking a 4.1

I definitely need my JB and unlock:(

You should have never ran Spirit over BlackRa1n (bad idea). Is your iPhone still in DFU mode? Do you know if you ever clicked "make my life easier" in Cydia to save the shsh files? You may be able to save your iPhone.

unfortunately didnt save that... now i guess i am stuck eternally. i havent upgraded to 4 yet! is there any solution to this problem please???:(

My phone is on the restore mode (the itunes and the usb screen)
 
What u can do is create a custom 4.1 Ipsw with Pwnage tool and then use Pwnage to enter dfu mode and restore to the jb 4.1 while saving your unlockable baseband.
Then open Cydia and install ultrasnow to unlock.
 
i think its now slowly restoring to 3.1.2 ill keep u posted

i so wanted to go for ios 4.1
 
here is the latest problem... it restored but now shows the emergency call screen only... baseband is still 5.11.07...

Anywhere to go? lost all options please
 
finally after hours of research and some help from u guys, i managed to get myself out of this mess...

I had to edit the hosts file to restore 3.1.2 which took away the error message (not eligible)

At the end i got back to Blackra1n, and in business now...

I must say i would have so loved to have my untethered but as far as my phone works i am a happy man.. thank you everyone
