I have a late 2009 Mac Pro with an ATI 4870 graphics card. I have my primary monitor plugged in via DisplayPort. The second monitor is connected via DVI to DisplayPort converter box. When I open monitor preferences, I only see brightness calibration slider for the primary DisplayPort monitor and not the secondary one.

I assume I could probably adjust the brightness of the second monitor if I swap it around for a moment, make the change and then revert back to my original configuration. But that's a nuisance when I regularly adjust my monitor depending on what I'm working on, ambient light, etc. Is there a better solution?
