Ipad back up

The last backup I did on my ipad took 11 hours. Thanks to the great thread on this at apple support and messages from Jeds on this forum, I backed mine up yesterday in advance of the update I thought was coming tomorrow, and what do you know 8 minutes to backup and sync.

Thanks aging to all of you who took the time to post these impotatnt tips!!

Having the same problem...where are those tips posted?

My ipad virtually never gets more than 5% backed up. Is that because I sync to a different computer? If so, why does it try to back up every time I connect to my second computer?
