iPhone 4G is out of stock but I can order the Samsung Galaxy. For the contract plan, the Galaxy is only $10 cheaper. Leaning towards iPhone because I have a MacBook Pro 13"

I don't even know where to get started with this one.
iPhone 4 without a doubt.

Unless you prefer Android with that "copy" iPhone theme on it.

Both are great phones, whatever you get, you'll be happy with it.

But since you own a Mac already, I'd suggest getting the iPhone since it will streamline your gadgets, and it has a smoother sync process.

I own an iPhone 4 and a Nexus One, and both are pretty neat to use with Mac, but nothing beats the perfect integration between my MBP and my iPhone.

And about the iPhone being all glass, get a bumper-type case and it'll solve most of the dropping problems. Protects all corners, and protects screen and back as well since the bumper creates a gap between the ground and the screen itself.
