The Beatles came - I could care less.
iOS 4.2 for iPad still 'coming soon' - this sucks.
Any reason why this sucks?
iOS4.2 is due by the end of November. My calender says it's the 16th of November now.
I suspect that Apple didn't take the programming team off of iOS4.2 for the Beatles announcement. I think they are big enough to do more than one thing at a time.
BECAUSE, GM and GMb already out and many expected today is the day.

I think it will happen this week. I would say today or on Thursday. The second GM has no issues whatsoever.

A final release of iOS 4.2 and/or being able to sync with iTunes wirelessly would have been cooler.

What a load of horse hooey. Is there anyone on the planet who wanted the Beatles on his or her ipod that hasn't bought the cd and ripped it. I don't mind promotion but this is over the top. Apple would do well to remember the chicken little moral.

Agreed, by now if someone liked the Beatles, they would have already had their music in their iTunes libraries. But just wait and see, their albums will shoot to the top of the best selling charts.
I'm a Beatles fanatic, and I've had every album on iTunes for ages. Not a very exciting announcement.
As for 4.2? Get a grip. It'll be here soon enough. Or become a developer and use it now. Those are your choices.

indeed, Lol. When he fired up the iPhone's iPod app for the first time in that 2007 keynote, The Beatles were the first band he showed.
I am just saying that in the developer forums there doesn't seem to be any issues being discussed...
