The Beatles came - I could care less.

iOS 4.2 for iPad still 'coming soon' - this sucks.

Any reason why this sucks?

iOS4.2 is due by the end of November. My calender says it's the 16th of November now.

I suspect that Apple didn't take the programming team off of iOS4.2 for the Beatles announcement. I think they are big enough to do more than one thing at a time.

Even if you don't feel like waiting anymore, it's not like it's not available to you.

I'm okay with the delay - it's been "November" for some time, and I'd rather it be right than early.

Now if it bleeds into December, then there will be hell to pay. :D

Worst hyped up Apple announcement ever..the beatles have been around for about 50 years, I'm pretty sure if you like them you have their music already

They said you would never forget it. We will never forget this bull crap. Thanks for nothing Apple.

I'm confused. You all led yourselves to believe the day was today, and now your mad.

Who's fault is that?

Last time I checked, all Apple said was November.

This announcement was from iTunes. It was clearly stated everywhere.

Beatles?

What a load of horse hooey. Is there anyone on the planet who wanted the Beatles on his or her ipod that hasn't bought the cd and ripped it. I don't mind promotion but this is over the top. Apple would do well to remember the chicken little moral.

Agreed, by now if someone liked the Beatles, they would have already had their music in their iTunes libraries. But just wait and see, their albums will shoot to the top of the best selling charts.

I'm a Beatles fanatic, and I've had every album on iTunes for ages. Not a very exciting announcement.

As for 4.2? Get a grip. It'll be here soon enough. Or become a developer and use it now. Those are your choices.

Guys,

It's out when it's out! Wouldn't you rather that get it RIGHT than rush it out the door with bugs that you'll then complain about????

Remember, this is Apple, not Microsoft!

Just CHILL! It's not like the iPad is unuseable with 3.x on it... geesh..
