iTunes and SD cards

Can I load up an SD card using iTunes? Specifically I am hoping to create a setup where I have multiple folders each as their own play list. My VW can accept SD cards, the limits being 512 directories (folders) and 2048 total songs.

Or does someone have a recommendation to use another tool?
