Does it affect battery life in any way ? What about TetherMe, does leaving the toggle on (not connected to laptop) affect battery life ?

Do you leave 3G unrestrictor on?

Yes I leave it on (3GU), it doesn't affect battery. I don't think there is a way to disable "Tetherme", there is a way to disable the Build-in Tether feature, which if it is what you are asking for, them I do disable that one along with Bluetooth. It doesn't affect Battery, but in my case no reason to have it on until I am going to use it.
