Base 13" MBP or 13" (4GB ram) MBA?

13MBP will cover all my needs, just wondering can 13MBA (4Gb) do roughly the same?

I need to carry it with me to work everyday.

After the extra RAM from Apple, the MBA13" will be a little bit more expensive.

Which one should I get?
 
I say wait for MBP refresh for Q1 2011, unless you really need a lappy now of course. I'd personally go for the air but i'd have to pick the 2.13ghz processor to future proof...

Depends on what you need.

The MBP has a faster CPU, backlit keyboard, more ports including FW800.

The MBA will probably seem faster because of the SSD drive which makes a huge difference. Its thinner, lighter. The display is higher resolution.
