Their website reflects images of people using windows laptops, people chatting it up, laying down in a library, giggling with 3 other mates in an otherwise empty classroom, and loitering in a hall. I think each of these images suggests that the school isn't focused on studies at all. Discuss.

When you are choosing your uni you are choosing where to learn, live, grow and spend your free time for 3+ years. If it was only showing the learning environment it would only be showing a small glance of life at university.

Not only that people often learn in groups and having a good relationship with those around can aid learning. With the level of mobility our technology gives us these days why does all learning have to be in a class room/library.

When I drill down to a specific department, for example, there are more appropriate images for the learning part.

Comedy ****ing gold!

Nobody actually advertises their products anymore. They just show you people smiling and happy feelings.

I think jessica. is a creeper.

Waloshin just posted a status about attending that University.

I'm only kidding jessica., you're my friend. :D

Looks like they are trying to showcase a fun hip school ... Not sure about the Windows angle though ... that is non hip

If I were making a photo montage of my years at WVU it would be FAR...FAR... worse than this, but at least there would be multiple Apple computers and no Windows.

Something to be said for being the number 1 party school on at least 1 poll for the last 15 years running.

Using windows laptops - don't be a fanboy (girl?). Windows is fine.
Giggling + chatting - could easily be any sort of group work, which university is all about.

And what fine institution was responsible for your higher learning?
