Hello,

I'm looking for some advice regarding books for iOS4 development. I started a a complete beginner, but have now worked my way through a book on C and now a book on Objective C. I have a little experience with IB and AppKit. I'm ready to start making some apps. What would be your book recommendation to get me jump started on iPhone development in iOS4? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Sorry for not answering your question but rather making a new one - just curious, which books have you used to learn basic C and Obj. C?

I used "Learn C on the Mac" by Dave Mark and "Learn Objective C on the Mac" by Mark Dalrymple and Scott Knaster. Both were good books. They are written in a friendly way like they are speaking to you and not an encyclopedic format. They also have example programs you can download from their website to use.
