i just bought the brand new old model macbook air mc233 mid 2009 .but it came old version mac os x 10.5.8
how to upgrade to 10.6.xxxx
i try to(software update) but it checked already up to date
please help
 
Buy Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard for 29 USD.

Only updates between 10.5.0 and 10.5.x (x being the last update, in your case 10.5.8) are free, the same applies to 10.6.0 to 10.6.x.
