This is really tough,

I ordered my first mac, the 13.3/4gb model Nov 11th in Canada.

Shipping seemed slower than all the other threads i've read about shipping to Canada.

So i got the confirmation that it will be "on-time" this morning, which means today, Friday.

I left work early just to make sure i'm home for it.

Waited and waited, then got a Destination Scan at 4:25, called UPS again, tried to see if they are delivering today ( they deliver 9am-7pm ), but they said will not until Monday and i can't pick it up b/c they need to attempt delivery at least once.

This wait is killing me..... I was making sure i don't wait additional weekend, my worst case scenario was for the package to be in local UPS and not get delivered until Monday............. (this is what happened)

BTW, i'm less than 4km away from local UPS.

It's a good excuse to spend your weekend with friends or a girlfriend I guess.

Where I live, you can just go to the UPS main location after hours and someone inside brings the package out to the security guard who gets you to sign for it.
