I finally decided on a 11" MBA but I didn't wanted to deal with MacMall or Macconnection due to terrible experiences in the past, and since I didn't got any discount with the Apple sales staff over the phone like some people here (sad, but I suck at haggling), I went online and configured the base MBA 11 with an extra 2GB on the Apple Store, the total was $1,208 including tax.

But somehow I recalled that NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) has a lot of discounts for many vendors including Apple, B&H and many others, and since we were planning to renew our suscription anyway I visited their page and did the renew, I found a $10 discount code in google so I paid $89 instead $99 for one year.

Then I logged to my NAPP account and in the discounts menu clicked the Apple Store for Bussiness/NAPP members link, configured my MBA/11.6/4GB/64Gb and placed my order for a total of $1,136 with tax, a $72 savings from regular price, not much but not bad, so basically I renewed to NAPP for $17 bucks but if you choose other configs you can easily get the NAPP suscription for free.

And I preffer a LOT more dealing with Apple than with the other resellers, no problems with DOAs, refunds and more reliable shipping and tracking... and if you buy tru Apple before Dec 25, you have until Jan 8th to return any item, buying after Dec 25 gives you only 14 days :)

I know not everybody has interest or need to spend money on a NAPP suscription but it worked for us and maybe other designers or photographers may find this useful.

I checked the other MBA base configs: 11/64GB $939, 11/128GB $1,127, 13/128MB, 13/256MB $1,503 all before tax... almost a 6% less than regular prices.

In case somebody is interested just go to www.photoshopuser.com, and the $10 discount code is "ajwood" (got it from the page of A.J. Wood, Adobe Instructor).

BTW if you go tru this link they could extend my suscription 1 month, but if you have a problem with that just go with the above link, I obviously not work at NAPP or have any other relation besides being a suscriptor.
