Not actually quite sure where this goes, but I figured the basics would be appropriate...

Anyways, I've noticed that lately, my hdd space has been getting used up. I know it's not my music/movies because once I DL music, I put them onto my iPod/iPhone, transfer it to my Time Machine, and then delete it from my computer. I just transferred my pictures to my Time Machine, but that's not it.

I did just install both L4D/L4D2, but I don't think they're the cause of eating up the hard drive space.

Is there anything I can check to see what's taking up space? I've checked all the spots that I, myself, would only know to check...

There are a few utilities out there, but I like Daisy Disk. There's a free trial too.
