Hey guys. Three Australia has offered to unlock my phone as I will be travelling aboard for a couple of months. The procedure goes that I am simply required to have the latest version of iTunes installed, insert another carrier's sim card before pluging it in to iTunes. I was told to give them the last for digit of my IMEI number which I did. I'm just wondering if this will affect my jailbreak?

Nope. Definitely take it. It is the dream of jailbreakers and unlockers to have a factory unlocked phone. That means you can upgrade without potentially losing your ability to unlock (You still won't be able to jailbreak until the version of iOS that you have on it is jailbroken)
