iPhone 4.2 won't recognize iTunes content

Hi All;
So I updated yesterday and now iTunes on the iPhone 4 won't recognize and of my music, podcasts etc. The "About" display in Settings-General says that all my content is there, but the iPod function says that there's nothing.
Any and all help is always greatly appreciated.
