With Black Friday closely approaching, I was seeing if you guys (mostly the ones who spend a lot of time researching for sales) could help direct me to somewhere where I can find a great deal.

I would like to upgrade my hard drive on my MBP Unibody to a 1TB. I currently have a 500GB. I would like to find one that is has good performance. I would also love to find one that wont break the bank. That's why I am writing this.

I know that newegg is a great site for this. Are they having any good deals for Black Friday? Anywhere else that I can get this for cheap?

Thanks!!

Also, as I look around the internet which specs should I be looking for in a hard drive so it will work the best?

How much RPM?
Which size? 2.5 right?
how much cache?

It should work fine. There are really only three or so 1Tb 2.5" drives and one of those is only 5200 rpm vs. 5400 rpm (the Western Digital). The rest of the specs are pretty much the same on all the drives. With the price drop the Seagate is probably the best choice right now. I just bought one this morning for my unibody and it should get here in a couple days. I'll report back and tell you how it works out.
