Hello there, this newbie idiot dropped her Macbook Pro yesterday.
No obvious damage done, only noticeable difference was that this morning I noticed what sounds like a fan noise (Macbook had previously been dead silent).
So after checking this forum I downloaded Fan Control software.
It appears that I have only 1 fan running (Left Fan 2500 rpm; Right Fan -1 rpm).
How easy/difficult is it to check out/replace?
I'd be grateful for advice here.
Thanks.

(forgot to say model is 2.26GHz intel core 2 duo 13" screen)

Oops have just read thread here that informs me 13" has only one fan. Duh.
So it would appear all is well... but I'd love to know what's making that noise....

Sites like ifixit.com will guide you through getting to parts like the fan and either repairing or replacing the fan completely.

Edit: Yes the 13" only has one fan, still iFixit is a site I use when I need to do repairs myself

Thanks Darwin, I'm scrolling through those help manuals now as we speak.
