My girlfriends Macbook will no longer assign an IP address when attempting to connect to her new Verizon router. My Unibody MBP connects fine. We went through the steps to try to fix the network including un-plugging the box as well as using the assist me feature on the network preferences. I'm usually pretty computer savy but w'ere at a loss to what is going on. Her computer is the pre-unibody Macbook but is only about 2 years old. I doubt it would be a hardware issue but I'm not sure why mine connects fine and hers is having so many issues.
