Hello,

I want to sale my unlocked and jailbroken 3G on Craigslist. In my area, an unlocked and jailbroken Iphone 3G is worth $180 to $200 while a untampered Iphone 3G is a mere $120 to $140.

I purchased the phone used already this way on firmware 4.0.1. I have never synced or backed up this phone on the computer.

I want to clear out as much personal data off my phone; aside from the obvious (email accounts, internet history, SMS, contacts) how would I go about doing this all while keeping the phone in its current state?

Assumability, connecting it to Itunes, restoring it, and re-unlocking and jailbreaking it would be impossible.

Thanks!

I haven't done anything yet, I suppose the only surefire way is to delete things manually.

Sure your positive:rolleyes:
OP, if you do that you will lose both the JB and the unlock and you will need to restore your iphone cause it wont boot up at all.

I just did the reset to my old iPhone 2G as i read the other poster recomended it, i dont know how the situation is now but the last i saw it it was stuck on the apple logo with that spinning thingy. How should i restore it?

Just plug it to itunes and do a restore.
Then if if you want to JB and unlock it again you will have to run redsnow.

Yes, either delete things manually or create a custom 4.1 IPSW with pwnage and restore to that.
Then install ultrasnow from cydia to unlock. Up to you.

(Things I understood)(Holy french toast, what is that man saying?)

I'll go with the first, lol.
