I have read in some earlier forums that if you switched your sim out of the iphone 4 and put it in a 2g phpone it will give you unlimited data plan worked. This was back in August. Now it is almost December and I didn't know if it was fixed yet. I just bought a iphone 4 yesterday with 2gb data plan. Today I bought a 2g iphone off of a friend and after putting the sim in the phone it registers it is a 2g on my account online but the plan is still 2gb data.
Is it possible for me to get them to change it back to unlimited saying that I am changing to a 2g phone if I call them up? Or does it take awhile for the plan to switch?
------Ok so I reset the iphone 2g and I could activate it as a new iphone in I tunes. It gave me the $20 data and texting options through itunes so I don't know if I'm getting charged for that or what but this is confusing----
