Hello everyone.
I've got an iPhone 3G, which I was having trouble getting it to pick up signal (I've now found out it was a inactive sim not the phone). Anyway I decided to try a restore to see if that helped, but it got stuck about 2/3 of the way. I unplugged it, and then plugged it back in and tried again. The phone was recognized in iTunes, but the screen remains off. I can tell it to restore in and after a few seconds the screen comes on and it starts a restore, which gets stuck about 2/3 of the way through. I've tried it a few times and every time it gets stuck at the same point.
Its in great condition, so its such a shame. Does anyone have any ideas why it keeps getting stuck?
Cheers, Paul

Try putting your iPhone in DFU mode and then restore. What iOS update are you trying to restore it at?
