iLife ´08 Requirements

Hey guys! I´m new to MacRumors, found it of google-ing questions and though that i just as well would register and join the community :)!

So, I´m buying iLife ´08, and I was wondering about the requirements, and please don´t send links and stuff, I want personal experience.

You can see my specs below in the signature.

(Also, I have found the requirements on the Apple website, but I am wondering about the performance of the apps, specially Garageband & iMovie.)

Welcome to the forums.

Nearest Mac I have in specs to your machine was an iMac G5 2GHz/2GB RAM (pre-iSight) running Tiger. I have iLife ’08 on there.
GarageBand was OK with a couple of tracks running but once you’re up to 7-8 with effects etc. it complained and I had to lock down tracks. But then I’ve found GB to be a resource hog on a lot of machines so maybe it's just me and how I use it.

Didn’t use iMovie ’08 because I needed the timeline for even simple projects, so stuck with iMovie ’06 HD and went to FCE for more complex stuff.
