Hi guys,

Yesterday I updated the OS of my iPhone 3G from 3.0.1 to 4.2 gladly I put all the photos of my iPhone also on my desktop. What happened after the update is that all my contacts are gone, no phone numbers in my phonebook.. what am I going to do now.. Please help me.. I already did the control-click on my iPhone in iTunes where you get a menu and you can choose to put it back from the backupcopy. but unfortunately it didnt work for me.

please help me out.. my contacts are important to me..

when it updated, did you hit set up as new by accident?
when was the last time you synced? Every sync it backs up.
When you connect it to itunes, it should appear on the left pane. Right click on the iphone (thats on the left column/pane) and hit restore from backup. Choose the latest backup BEFORE the update:cool:
