Hey,

I share a laptop with my wife, she picks it up and does some stuff on it, closes it... i may pick it up next to do some stuff on it... put it down....


I wish that each time it would wake from sleep that it would ask for which user you would like to login as... no password...

I already setup each account to have no password... what next?

Did you enable fast user switching in System Preferences?

yes. the problem is that she just opens up a browser and goes at it, doesn't really care about the account login. this causes problems with background apps...

The simplest approach is to use passwords and each of you have an account. That way, you're forced to choose the account that's yours and enter the password. The benefit is that when you login, things are exactly as you left them.
