ok first off let me know if i did something wrong.

i own an iphone 4 on 4.1, baseband 1.59.00, jail broken with greenpoison, on ATT. i unlocked my iphone with the previous version of ultrasnow. i opened cydia and saw an update and installed it so now i have ultrasnow 1.2 everything seemed to be fine except now i find that the cell bars in the top left go missing and i cannot make or receive calls until i reboot the phone (cannot activate cellular network). the cell bars come back after i reboot but go missing what seems like once a day now. anyone else had this issue?

Remove ultrasnow and reinstall. Then remove your sim card and re-install. Then reboot your phone.

The same to my wife and my phone...you need to reset the network and reboot the phone for couple of time...respring and if turn off and on the airplane icon in the sbsettings. I did to both of our iphone 4 last night.
