Even since I updated to 4.2.1,
I notice often when I am browsing,
the loading wheel, seems to just spin and spin.
Never did that with 3.2.

Anyone else, any ideas?

So far, the only time I see the spinning wheel after a page has loaded is when I have another page or two loading in the background.

Do you perhaps have any websites loading in the background?

I've noticed this too recently and I don't think that downloading stuff in the background is causing it. I've had the spinning wheel stick around for half an hour or more. I would have expected any connections to have timed out by then.

This has been my experience also. Seems like this could hurt battery life, and wifi/3G connection speeds. I didn't notice this before in the previous IOS version.

Yes, never seen it before. 4.2.1.

Battery life concerns and also wondering just what it is downloading or uploading?
