I have an external hard drive that I use to back up my Mac with Time Machine. Where on that drive would I be able to find web bookmarks that I have since deleted from Safari?

I don't want to reset all on my bookmarks, just look up one. Thanks for any help.

Navigate to your Home folder in the TM backup. The list of bookmarks is in ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist. Just copy that into its respective location on your main drive and you should be set.

Edit: Ha I was beaten by a link to a previous post of mine! Neat :)

Sorry to open this super old thread. I was wondering if Google Chrome bookmarks would be in the same area? And if not, where can I find them?

thank you. I tried searching for every possible combination of 'google chrome bookmarks with time machine' that I could think of... I guess I need to think more simply....
